Trump’s meteoric rise, and particularly his camping out at the top of the polls, are something I really never thought I’d see. Obviously, he’s hit a nerve with the American electorate. Are there lessons to be taken from his campaign that we can apply to other campaigns and the rest of what we try to do politically? I think there are.

MC Cullah is not affiliated with me, does not endorse me or my opinions, and likely is not aware that I exist. But because his music is so freakin' cool, and because he provided a Creative Commons license, I think you should go download his songs. I have.

Is there any way to bring civility back to our debates, not just on this issue, but on all of them?

The philosophy of that 20th Century intellectual giant, John Lennon, has trickled down through the generations to give us this week’s Snowflake of the Week, Erika Meister. Erika has decided she knows what caused last Friday’s attacks in Paris, and her snowflakey decree is the solution - eliminate all religions.

Creative blocks are painful - but I’m not going to let it stop me from taking action. Also, you get to find out why I’m not a morning show host.

Facing the Syrian Refugee Crisis, what is our moral obligation? Do we have a moral duty to bring these refugees to America?

Never put politics ahead of people. Always put people ahead of politics. Always remember why we are fighting for these principles - it’s for the people.

As we have our first real snowfall of the season, you have to hear what the precious little snowflakes at Yale have been up to. It is, apparently, everyone else’s job to create a space of comfort and home for the snowflakes at Yale - and in a surprise revelation to the rest of the civilized world, it is NOT about creating an intellectual space at Yale.

Wait - what?

Politico’s hit piece on Ben Carson - an attack basically made up from whole cloth and quietly edited in the night once the lies were discovered - is a clue to a larger narrative between good and evil in this country. How does Politico’s latest lie fit in to the larger context?

The latest battlefield for the left is in the war on teenage girls. Are we going to buy in to this latest salvo to victimize women in this country? More importantly, are we going to buy in to the mass delusion they are trying to force down our throats?

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

Subscribe_with_itunes

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:
Itunes_ss

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.

Enjoy!
done!
