A listener asked me how the Supreme Court gets to make law in Kentucky. After some tripping down dark paths including a lot of legal reading, in tonight’s podcast I find that I need to change my position, because I was wrong about how the Supreme Court’s ruling intersects with state law and our individual rights.

Riffing off last night’s podcast, tonight’s subject is intellectual integrity. Are you (and am I) defending the wrong ideas? How would you know? This isn’t an easy subject - but I think it’s critical if we want to preserve our credibility and our moral high ground moving forward.

Hey - if the RINOs and the Democrats thought like us, they’d be one of us. This is how we win.

If you’ve listened to me for any length of time, or known me for 10 minutes, you know integrity is my absolute number one value. Tonight’s podcast explains why it’s important - for our candidates, our national party, and our state party.

A party powerful enough to demand your allegiance is a party powerful enough to betray that allegiance. Trump signed the loyalty pledge today - guess how I feel about that.

We continue our look at the bill of rights by focusing on the First Amendment, specifically the part about how "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” What is the government’s role regarding religion? And when you become a government employee, are you then “the government”?

Chairman House, Fmr. Chairmen Wadhams and Call and NCM Kopp are trying to pull a fast one - and I can prove it. The RNC rules regarding binding delegates are not what they seem, but they’re trying to sell you a false interpretation so they can take another bite at the apple and get the straw poll reinstitute at the central committee meeting later this month. Listen to tonight’s podcast to find out how they’re trying to pull the wool over your eyes.

I am a Constitutional Conservative (and I hope you are, too). I think part of our civic duty as Americans, and particularly if we are going to call ourselves Constitutional Conservatives, is to get a deeper understanding of this founding document, its genius, and how it actually works for us. So let’s start this journey with the Bill of Rights itself.

There’s been a lot of uproar lately - on Facebook, in my texts, in my email - about the decision of the Colorado GOP Executive Committee last Friday to not do a presidential preference poll (known as a “straw poll”) at the caucuses next year. In tonight's podcast, I explain why this is a win for liberty, and further, why we should be jealously safeguarding the caucus process and fighting the push by the Establishment to move to a primary.

[NOTE: The following is offered ENTIRELY tongue in cheek - please take it in the humorous spirit in which it is intended.]

Soooo…. Last night’s podcast headline, “Should we repeal the Bill of Rights?”, was interpreted MUCH too literally - what a great reaction! If I pissed you off last night, please share my podcast with your friends so they can be equally outraged.

Tonight, housekeeping, a.k.a., cleaning up the gigantic mess I apparently left last night, a.k.a., WHAT in the heck forms the strength of our Constitution? Please, please, please, please listen to the podcast (tonight’s is only 15 minutes long - truly bite size for your convenience) before you decide I ought to be hung and quartered in the town square!

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

Subscribe_with_itunes

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:
Itunes_ss

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.

Enjoy!
